Most of the retail shops in downtown Brevard are making it more convenient for us to shop local, by extending their hours and staying open late until 8pm on Friday and Saturday during the month of December, some will be open late many weekday nights as well.
These downtown merchants will also be hosting several fun events like ladies’ night out and men’s night out, plus entertainment and refreshments sprinkled in to the mix! With so many great restaurants downtown too, there is so much to do and enjoy while you support our small independent businesses.
Share your support for the spots you call your own, whether it’s your toy store, your art gallery, your clothing store, your jewelry shop or even your go-to local restaurant, it makes a big impact. These businesses help keep your community strong, vibrant, and unique while also providing jobs for your friends, family, and neighbors.
Remember when you shop at our local independent businesses, spending here supports our local schools, parks, roads, firefighters, and more. DYK – 68% of each purchase at local independent businesses is recirculated locally, compared to less than 14% of purchases at chain stores.
